This picture taken at Longji terrace, China, shows two women engaged in the simple pleasure of exchanging notes on their traditional jewelry. They are simple people with simple everyday joys.
The picture below shows how Thailand is the best example of the Thai people’s sense of catering to their guests. The river Phrau Chaya was in spate then (as evident from its brown colour) flooded by the storms that hit Thailand in 2011. The boats plied across the river carrying tourists to and from the Wat Arun temple complex despite the rising water level.
The statue of Liberty, of course, is all about the American spirit. Silhouetted against the setting sun, the Lady is a beacon of liberty.
Last but not the least, this picture features the gopuram tower of a temple in Mylapore, Chennai. The shot was taken on a rainy morning. The tower was behind me and I could see its reflection stretched poetically in a puddle on the road ahead. In a way, it’s a reflection of the strong cultural ties that bind the people of India.
Fantastic images! The reflection of the Temple is awesome!
Wow!. The silhouette of Statue of Liberty and Kapaleesvar temple are mind blowing.
