We are happy to present to you Spark’s March issue “Woman: Facets and Forms”. A fiction and poetry special, we have truly explored myriad perspectives of what a woman could be, ranging from mythological fiction to letters to the future to poetry about a woman about to give birth. We are also proud to present a feature on a programme by the ICRW called Parivartan, that aims to reduce gender-based violence by working working with men and boys through cricket!
With groups across the country threatening to get dating couples married off or have them change faith, relax and revel in Spark’s Romance issue! This month, it’s a fiction and poetry special exploring so many facets of romance that range from love and fantasy to the downright real. We also have a special interview on two campaigns that are encouraging discussions around redefining love. Read on!
It’s with a sort of dazed excitement that we’re writing this letter to you, readers! We simply can’t believe we’re turning five! We have had a roller coaster ride thinking of themes every month, working with our lovely contributors, reading, enjoying and discussing their contributions with them, and finally managing to put out every issue on the fifth of the month! Thank you, dearest readers of Spark, for your support through all these years. We grow stronger with every view, every share and every comment from you. We look forward to giving you many more issues of Spark in the coming years!
